Versions aren't really "backwards compatible" but you could try editing the .dsx file and changing the tool version noted there to whatever an export on your 7.5 server uses.

No, it's not ignored. You can, for example, put "fred" for the filename and simply "cat" for the filter and it will combine the two and "cat fred" automatically. That's why I tend to put "/dev/null" for the filename when its included in the filter command as it makes it more obvious that it's not us...

:? So... the parameters from Server or Parallel job types but not Sequence job types? Out of curiousity, what are you trying to accomplish? Maybe there's an easier path that can be taken here.

I would have thought that would have done it but I'm not where I can check right now. Perhaps TEMPDIR as well as TMPDIR? Might be more of a Windows thing, though...

First mention of that requirement. Have you tried (from memory) setting it to a "Transform" type in the SP stage? Rather than Source or Target that is.
