Yes, normal. That initial 'start time' is when the job started and the second start time (the one it chaged to) is when the first rows began to flow through the job. And the speed can be fairly meaningless as it is averaged over the entire life of the job, it is not the 'current' speed.

On the $LD_PRELOAD question, the answer depends on what version of HP/UX you are running as to if it should be set or not.

For 8.x you need to add the "domain" option to the credentials you are passing in.

And you'll still have issues. Best to let the XML Input stage do its own reading and only feed it the URL/Pathname.

They're not transactional, so what I assume you'd need to do to emulate that functionality is make a copy of it 'before job' and then check the interim status after job to see if the job had aborted and, if so, put the saved copy back into place.

Welcome. :D There's no way to do that kind of 'refusal' that I've ever seen but perhaps someone else has. As far as I know, you'll need to create another version of the job minus the web components - i.e. one web-enabled for singletons and another specifically for batches. For what it's worth, that'...

He's looking for clarification on how it was created in Oracle: as 1000 bytes or 1000 characters? Makes a huge difference when dealing with multibyte character sets.
