Did you notice any huge java and/or core dump files under WAS logs folder ( /opt/IBM/WebSphereX.0/AppServer/profiles/default/logs/server1 ) during that time.

This issue is resolved for us during 2008, after IBM Support involved and moved the XMeta DB to another server. For this kind of issues, better contact Product support vendor (in our case IBM).

We have verified that by creating (touch at command line) some temp files under resource and scratch filesystems/folders.

This issue is RESOLVED after restarting the UNIX server.

We have no-clue why this happend.

Is there any limit to define parameters in parameter set.

How much time CLEAR.FILE RT_LOGnnn command takes to clear RT_LOG of 2 GigaBytes (executing this command from DataStage Administrator).

Un-install of Metadata Workbenck resolved the issue. But, no clue on why Metadata workbench is the cause for this issue.

How to LIST DataStage Objects (Non-JOB objects like Shared containers Routines, etc.,) from Administrator.
I have tried LIST DS_JOBS and LIST DS_JOBOBJECTS. No Luck with DS_JOBS but got some info with DS_JOBOBJECTS(but limited). We are looking to find shared containers.

We don't think memory is the issue. This started after installing the Metadata Workbench. Ofcourse nobody is using Metadata Work bench. Any clue...

Is it something related to aborted job warnings. If so, do we need to restrict those warnings. Some times job aborts due to some reasons, it is common in unit testing. What is the remedy for this.

WebSphere is generating huge files under /opt/IBM/WebSphere6.0/AppServer/profiles/default
heapdump123456.1234567891.phd and
javacore1234567.1234567121.txt

What could be the reason for this. Because of this /opt/IBM is becoming 100% full and DataStage application is hanging.
