Thes are .csv files without metadata. The file name will contain the table name and we plan to use schema files to define metadata.

I have to process the error log files created by netezza load and reprocess them. Did anybody do this before? I would like to know the best way to automate the whole process of reading the log files and passing the table definitions and loading it back with default values. ANy insight in this direct...

We are evaluating Netezza as a potential Database for our Warehouse, it would be a great help if anybody can let us know of any connectivity, performance, feasiblity etc issues while using DataStage and Netezza.

We are in the process of updating the ACE Image that contractors use to connect to our network. We would like to have the DataStage client installed on the image.

Would DataStage client run too slowly on the ACE image or basically is anybody aware of any issues doing so?

Well it was the new 5.3 ODBC drivers that messed up the things, reverting back to 5.2 drivers fixed the issue. IBM is working on getting their act together.

When I run a dummy server job, nothing happens and it stays in the compiled status only.

I am having the same issue on AIX. The security.xml looks like a huge file. WHat do I exactly edit on the file to bypass the security verification issue.

Just restarted the whole server itself and everything is back fine.

No prolems with desining and compiling. I get this error while running the job:

and

I have restarted the server.
