As per my knowledge containers are reused from on job to another job & a stage cannot be copied and used in another job.

You can configure through DSManager--->Tools--->Configure, then comming to sending your jobs to production...I suggest you to use version control which is useful in Integrating the jobs from different developers and helps in sending it to production at a time.

you mean i dont need to do anything except using 'Xfm' Stage and writing it to new file simply.

Yes, as far as i know Datastage 7.x does have a version control which is very useful. I dont have much idea about other versions.
