If you have AnalysisServer and Client installed on different boxes you will have to install another local AnalysisServer on the same box where you have your client installed.

This is a documented feature for generating the DDL. It will always use the local AnalysisServer for this purpose.

There is documentation about this issue on UNIX, Linux and Windows Server Guide. One has to execute setup.exe in 'Licence_update' folder from CD-ROM media.

Which is the easiest way to update license information on QualityStage client and server? I am running client version 7.0 build 51 with local QS server for Windows. Should I re-install both software or is there any other way to do license-updating eg. manually?
