Thanks for the response, the culprit in our data was a special character which looks like an apostrophe but its not once that character has been cleaned everyhting works fine.

Hi
i am using sequential files to use the file pattern property...but as it is sequential it is very slow...Just wanted to know if there is any other way of using a file pattern in Dataset or Filesets...heard that you can do it using File sets...is there a way to do it with File sets???

HI I am using the enterprise FTP stage..i am giving the syntax as ftp://ip[port]/xxx/xxx/xxx and the id and password of the destination system ans selecting the command as ftp.. but it say invalid syntax.... transformer stage not working
HI we installed version 8 on AIX.
I am able to use all the stages except Transformer stages.When i use transformer stage its throwing error at the time of compilation.
Is it some thing related to C++ compiler if so what are the things i should take care of .
