Looks like you some of your input fields are having CR & LF characters. You can use a routine on that field to strip of unwanted characters in hte case business users are okay with that.

I just checked my /etc/hosts file and it is defined in that range only. Can someone else confirm?

Hi Friends, Earlier we had some jobs running DS 7.5.2 windows that processes multibyte character set data and those were executed successfully without any warnings with the default MS 1252 character set. After importing the same jobs into the DS 8.1 RHEL 5.3 64 bit environment we are getting warning...

First you have to map the logical user name created on WAS domain on port 9080 to relevant DataStage physical user. After doing that only you will be able to login to the DS Administrator.

If not use a simple java code given in the below page to split it. and use the sequential file stage in wild card mode to perform your task.

What is the source system OS & the DS server OS. How big is the file? Do you need to do this repeatedly?

As I remember you need to upgrade the projects from DS Administrator. Can you see that the Upgrade button is available on DS Administrator?
