Re: Oracle 12c supported?

Have a very similar issue. Installed the 12c client version to use with 12c dbase. Could get round it by creating symbolic link from the libraries that cannot be found, to the 12c equivalent libraries. Did some more digging however and it seems that IBM only support upto 11gR2 client version with 12...

I have been searching for this and this seems to happen when certain files that should be owned by root are not. This does not however appe...

Thanks for the suggestions but the issue does not seem to be related to these. I attempted to recreate the problem on another environment (same OS, DS version etc) but was no issue here. The only difference was on the MEMOFF settings which were ... DMEMOFF = 0x0 PMEMOFF = 0x0 CMEMOFF = 0x0 NMEMOFF =...

Multi Instance Jobs Failing and/or Hanging

This is a new environment (migration from 8.1 and aix) although we have migrated several other similar applications to linux 9.1 and without issue. We have a very simple script that is resetting and firing off DS multi instance jobs which is causing a few problems. I have stripped down and recreated...

Hi Arnd,

Yes - well used 'strace'. The java process was timing out in attempting to connect and turned out to be a problem with a mount point.

Thanks.

Error Viewing data with Teradata API Stage

First thing to say is that my job actually successfully completes and loads my teradata table as expected. When however I try to 'view data' from within the stage itself I get the following error .. ..DbaseLoad: Object 'TableListNotExist' does not exist. : RDBMS Code 3807 ..DbaseLoad.DSLink1: DSP.Op...

Many thanks - the 8.5 doc makes it pretty clear that you have to specify an asc/dsc option.
