Full hot backup can be scheduled at the time when no or least amount of activities are anticipated...like early morning.

Here requirement is just the complete recovery even though the jobs are needs to be re-run...I hope full hot back up should cater to this.

Is Full Hot Backup is sufficent to restore everything (server & application) in case of any contingency?

Of course project level .dsx is happening separately.

Observing huge tsorts file are getting created in Scratch space,

/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Scratch

also observed almost no job is running in director..

wondering from where these files are getting created?

Checked you have correctly mapped all the users to dsadm in webconsole....

How can find out what all the IA/datastage/qualitystage jobs /processes are running on the server without using datastage clients?
