Replace Db2 stage with Teradata stage
We have a need to replace a DB2 stage in a Datastage job with a Teradata stage. As we have lot of jobs to convert. We thought of exporting the jobs as XML and replacing the stages with the help of some scripts. Is it possible for me to get some insights on how the XML is structured & how to go a...

Capturing rejects when executing stored procedure via ODBC
Hi, We use a ODBC stage to execute a stored procedure in SQL Server. The sp inserts and updates a table. All rows passing from the transformer are expected to be inserted. But, only few rows are getting inserted. We don't get any warnings or any other hint regarding the rejected rows. We compared th...

Executing SQL Server Stored procedure
Hi, I am calling a SQL Server stored procedure using an ODBC stage. The stored proc is inserting rows in few tables. The job runs to successful completion but there were no rows inserted. When the stored procedure is executed via query analyser it is inserting rows. I am not able to find out what is...

Call a Oracle package
I need to call a oracle package - DBMS_STATS via a Datastage job to analyze a table. What are the options available to acheive this ?
The concern i have is - This is the only thing i have to do in the DS job. {I don't have a clue why the customer just want this to be in a DS job}
