Ideally it should work, moreover the message looks like something in not defined on datastage repository side only.

Have you tried with other database (Oracle,ODBC,DB2) connector stage and getting same message.

Let me know where you have changed the configuration file path.
Also check in the director log the file name and path from where it is picking up the configuration file for running the jobs.

Have you put any conditional check to STOP the sequence, because it seems to be that condition is getting true and your sequence will be STOP in that case.
Check your all conditions once again and also check the detail log in director for more information.

Either you are missing to define any property while configuring the source data stage or it is not making an connection with the database.

While compiling please check the stage where it is giving the actual error , for more help post the comilation error so that can be better addressed.

Check the values directly in constraint part of the transformer.
Put the condition like

column1 < 4 and column1 > 10

and the same for other ranges to check and reject the records based on the values return.
