Not yet since the Operations Console isn't really used by anyone here and thus no one cares that much. They're pretty happy with the Director. I was tasked with presenting this utility highlighting its advantages over Director but since it's not critical, I'm presuming that involving support will ta...

Hi My version is: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.4.0 - Production I don't think we can move to DB2 since we only use Oracle here. The DSAppWatcher command gives me: DSODB is turned ON in the DSODBConfig.cfg file. Link Monitoring is ...

So first preference should be UNIX? Or is that the prelude to a Pivot Enterprise stage?

Thanks for that.

I guess we can definitely come up with a max number of columns for feasibility's sake.

That said, at the mo' we have done this pivot using a Transformer and its loop functionality - but we're trying to see if the Pivot Enterprise stage can be used as an alternative.

That seemed to partially solve the issue. i have the resmonapp up and running now but not engmonapp. As far as engmonapp is concerned here's what I surmise: The credentials used to connect to the database in order to extract monitoring data is in the file: .../IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSODB:DSOD...

The ;err files are xml files containing: ResMonApp.err <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <java version="1.6.0" class="java.beans.XMLDecoder"> <object class="com.ibm.datastage.runtime.common.ErrorFileObject"> <void property="errorMessage&quo...

PIVOT ENTERPRISE Stage - Pivoting dynamically

I have a pivot enterprise stage which I'm using in order to transform rows to columns. I'm trying to develop a job which would preferably be able to pivot different files with varying number of columns, as long as the key is constant comprising of a fixed number of columns. Is this possible? Thus I ...

I have engmonapp and resmonapp not running but have no idea why.
Is this the reason why jobs run are not displaying their latest statistics?

Top right hand corner of which screen? When I log into the op console I land on the Dashboard. On going to the 'Projects' tab, then navigating down the tree to the job I need I don't see any statistics. In fact even when I run a job from the Op Console itself it doesn't show up (despite refreshing) ...

Operations Console Errors

Folks... I'm using the Infosphere Operations Console from my client machine. First and foremost, its important to note that I haven't installed the server but just the clients (Designer/Director/etc.) on my local machine. On trying to access the operations console <https://<ip_address>:9443/ibm/iis/...

It appears that RCP doesn't work.

I defined the columns explicitly and now it seems to modify its format correctly.

No Ray. I have no metadata defined. The idea is to use RCP.
Avoiding the # can be done if that is the only problem (although that would require me to go through a temp table since the final table has # as column names and that can't change) but at the moment I don't think it is.
