No pop-up when job fails to compile

Newly installed DS8 on Linux. Exported job from DS6 on windows to DS8 on Linux. With the exception of 1 sequence all jobs compiled on DS8. The one problem sequence does not compile, does provide any pop-up message and no entries in log file. Pop ups work on the install because if I move one job on t...

I guess I was not clear :oops: - I was asking about the platform for the DS Engine and Domain installation. Either Windows 2003 or Linux RHEL 4 are supported in our data center. I will am more comfortable with Windows but I recall someone saying that Enterprise works better on Linux than on Windows.
