In a load job i read a file and then load it to oracle table using Oracle Enterprise stage. but in the same job i need to update one column of the table after the job finishes. this is same as after job query in server eddition. how can i acieve this in PX.

there is a problem that when sequencers are run the get aborted with the error [Timed out while waiting for an event]. the sequencer aborts after waiting for a job which is shown as finished in the director.

what is the reason for this?

ya now the user belongs to both dstage and dstage1 groups, that is why he is able to access not only his project but also other unnecessary projects in the server.

please let me know how i can restrict a user/group from accessing some projects in a server. in one of my server i have to add all the users to group dstage to gain access. but once the user is added to this group he has access to all the projects in that server. how can i resolve this.
