What are the setting we are expected to do with isadmin id ?

I believe it is to create the project, connection with data source.

Do we need isadmin id to fetch metadata from the source ?

Can Linux be installed on the Laptop in a different partition as it already has Windows XP professional ?

it can be installed on Windows XP professional ( not home), windows 2000.
The parallel jobs cannnot be run on Windows OS except for version 7.5.2.

Standard windows configuration is ok for it. You need NTFS filesystem on your Windows PC. 256+ Mb RAM.

Parallel jobs can get compiled on windows . However they cannot be run on windows. They can be run on unix. But can they be run on the linux platform ? Has anybody tried it ? Also do inform the linux version which can get installed on a Intel Pentium 4 PC .

Profilestage generates the ETL jobs to load data into the target. Does it automatically provide a sequencer also to run the jobs in an order to fullfill primary key/foreign key constraints?

Can profileStage take out some sample of data and load it in the target.
It creates the ETL jobs to load the data in the new target. While creating the ETL jobs, does it give any option to load only certain sample of data into the target.
