I want to compare two columns in a file .If these column values are same for all rows then i need to send a mail saying equal else i need to send mail saying not equal .

As per the query the target decimal output is [11,8].
If we set this at the target, by default datastage will append zeroes to it.
No need of expicitly handling that.

Try to implement the job control using the custom trigger, do not rely on "Automatic handle activities" option.
