Re: Loading 1252 fixed length file into UTF-8 DB2 - DB2CODEP
Are you sure that the sequential file is in Windows 1252 codepage.
You can tried to set NLS on Sequential file as Windows 1252 and write it to a dataset. Is is correct?

Re: To delete datasets from DataStage Job
Hi
when running from within a DS job you only need to run the
<path>/bin/Orchadmin rm datasetname
You don't need to do (i) and (ii) unless you are doing it from a script.

Re: XML error when importing operational metadata in WINDOWS
We tried to import to wrong server with wrong patch level. This has probably caused problem.
We change also the user in runimport.cfg to a user with the role of Operational Metadata Administrator.
The import now runs successfully.

Re: Processing Count based transformation in 4 nodes
If you need a unique counter across all partitions with Transformer the correct syntax would be
@PARTITIONNUM + (@NUMPARTITIONS * (@INROWNUM - 1)) + 1
@PARTITIONNUM + (@NUMPARTITIONS * (@INROWNUM - 1)) + 1

Re: RHEL V5 64-bit
This is a supported configuration for Information server 8.1 See in the installation document for installing 64-bit WAS. Support for Oracle 10g R2 on Redhat I'm wondering whether running IIS version 8.1 on a "PURE" Red Hat V5 64-bit environment will be a problem? I know if I include 32-bit...
