Hello - We also did surfaced a lot of issues with this and it looks there are two patches that they gave us and it worked for me.Please check with IBM folks and they should be able to help you ? I can give you the details of the patch # 's if you would like.

8.5 connections breaking down when we bounce 7.5 instance

Hi All - I do have a scenario where i have my 7.5 instance and 8.5 instance installed on the same machine with different itags and port #'s . But we are seeing issue with 8.5 client connections when we try to bounce the 7.5 instance. The 8.5 client connections are breaking while i re-boot 7.5 server...

Thanks all for your valuable inputs.

Our Unix admin took an existing directory and turned it into its own separate file system with its own space allocation while leaving it in place (no path changes). This worked perfectly well with no issues.

As a follow up to my earlier post...I have done further research and found that this issue only when the numer of files are greater than 2 with the specified pattern.
