Please specify 'Yes' to first line column names option in Input Properties tab.

Netezza Enterprise Stage is just a bulk loader using either 'ET' or 'NZLoad' options. To use Netezza as target I am also using ODBC Enterprise stage. I haven't seen performance issue with Lookup ... but of course I have only around 10 million records on my Netezza table.

Did you tried creating a CSV file from Excel and using it ?

You need to have FTP Service installed on your Unix server. You also need to know 'Mainframe host' information before you can try FTP Command.

Your Mainframe OSGroup should be able to help you with this information.

What kind of data your file is expected to contain ? If it is not packed decimal or signed numeric you can just create a text file with and use it as input.
