Failed domain trusted login

Till early Nov I was able to create new projects in Administrator, now I can't. IBM Support flumuxed! Spent hours with them. The only thing I know has changed was the server was moved to a new data centre about 17 Nov and the IP address changed. IBM Support thinks the old IP address is stuck somewhe...

This is NOT about job stats. I assume the data displayed in standard, out-of-the-box DataStage (Information Server) reports is kept somewhere in the xmeta database. I someone can tell me where that data is (IBM won't) I can extract it into a reporting data mart. "Not enough information for a co...

Thanks. This only talks about reporting job stats. I need user license/activity stats. This is available through built-in DS reports but I can only out to HTML or PDF. I need to get the core report data into a database table so that Cognos BI reports can be created from that data.

How can I send report output to a CSV file?

G'day all I have created a couple of reports to capture stats on number of user sessions by component and a list of users . I need to get this data into a database table so that snapshot (date range) and profile (licensing) reports can be generated. The only options I see is a collect data now and r...

How do I connect to a named instance of SQL Server 2005?

G'day all I need to write data to a named instance of SQL Server 2005 (v9). The definition of an ODBC connection using DataDirect 5.2 only allows a simple address such as a machine address. Here's an example: [XXYYZZZ] Driver=/da915m00/IBM/InformationSerer/Server/branded_odbc/lib/VMmsss22.so Descrip...

"Take the time to construct and test a connector. " How do I do this? Do you mean writing something in C or BASIC? I have tried all the options in DS I can find so far and the only stage type that works is Server.Database.ODBC. However our developers want/need to use Parallel jobs. Neither...

Which stage type do I use in DS Designer for DataDirect?

I have setup and successfully tested on the DS unix server the DataDirect ODBC connectivity. The odbc.ini file points to the SQL Server 2005 databases I want to connect to. Running the example program allows me to execute an SQL statement against both databases just fine. Now I need to create DataSt...
