i am also getting same kind of error - but with db2 process -
We checked to touch a file on scratch disk file system and we were able to touch the test file but still the job aborting with same error. what could be the reason?

Make sure no other big jobs are running at the time of your job runs, hopefully resources are shared at that point of time.

Thanks for sharing very good information Guru's.

I wonder - is there a way to get a jobs statistics in terms of CPU consumption?
By having those we can work on those jobs to reduce the CPU time to complete the job.

sorry for the late post - we found out the cause to having two LISTEN ports for dsrpc. some how the connection is not turning from LISTEN to ESTABLISH from a work station who logged into datastage designer. We traced the work station and did perform few test to find the cause... and asked fix the wo...

Hi ArndW,

I haven't test with with option you suggested. Do i need to set that in my profile or dsenv profile?

Ray, can you please tell me how to see ulimit for dsrpc? i checked dsrpc using ps -ef | grep dsrpc and it is running as root.

Hi Ray, my unix admin set all ulimit parameters to unlimited as hard limits, but somehow the data segment value is overwritten via the dsenv profile. I am sure there is nothing set for ulimit in our dsenv file. The reason I am telling because it is coming from dsenv profile is - I tested the scenari...
