i totally agree with that statement.
i am just curious why did it run fine after the abort., maybe 1GB tmp space is not enough for the jobs..

Should we always delete a project from UV instead of Administrator?
I got this message after I deleted the project from admin.

I ran these commands from UV prompt
didnt find the deleted project there, i dont even see it in the project down list in the client components. but it is still in Unix $DSHOME ../Projects/

yea it does sound weird, but thats how i worked on my last project...i had to use my laptop and it had vista...
Beleive it or not but DataStage worked fine for me using Virtual PC.....

the list_readu command does not show any locks associated with this job.
i dont see the job anywhere in the director therefore cant clear the status file.
