job disappear

Hi, All my jobs in one project disappear. I search the dsxchange knowlege base. I found this command: DS.REINDEX ALL. My question is: 1> where I can I run this command, is it from Datastage administration tools? or can I be run in more than one place? 2> Can I specify just a particular project name?...

I scheduled a job to run in the next five or ten minutes and run it today in datastage director, I am using datastage job scheduler, not Unix crontab. Usually after I scheduled, I should see it in datastage director so I know that the job has been...

datastage scheduler not showing scheduled jobs

Hi Craig,

We have an operational login id for all ETL jobs. I logged in with the operational login and scheduled a job to run in the next five minutes and I should see the job I just scheduled it but I don't see and the job did run at the scheduled time.

Hi Craig,

I did for a test. I logged on myself and scheduled the job so I should see it but I don't. Then the job ran at the specified time.

datastage scheduler not showing scheduled jobs

Hi, I schedule a job in datastage scheduler but it's not showing the job has been scheduled in director. However, the job does run at specified time. Since I do not see them I would not be able to tell how many jobs have been scheduled or to unschedule them. In director, under view, does have a chec...

Thanks for your response....

However, If you can send/point me to a sample code, it would make it very easy for me to learn.
Thanks in advance,

Re-rounte odbc stage's logs to another location

Hi, Currently my job with netezza stage produces its log files at /tmp where it has very limited space. I like to have those log files produce in the location other than /tmp when the job runs. I go in to uvconfig file change the UVTEMP parameter setting to a new location, then shut down datastage a...
