my problem was solved i am able to read the data using to_char(clob column name)

i am using datatype as longvarchar in oracle enterprise stage in datastage but i am getting below error

its datastage 8, and i tried installing it again i got error related to registry

clinet has provided datastage 8 client software so when i tried to install it i am geeting the below error

In our project we are migrating from datastage 7.5 to data stage 8 , so we need to perform testing for existing applications.
1) what need to be taken care while upgrading to 8
