Hi Gurus,
Actually my team lead was asking me how to handle in such cases.
I said generally we go for check points, check points acts as intermediate stopping pt which helps from failures. I wanted is there any other way to handle.

Hi Gurus,
I have designed a sequencer and scheduled that sequencer at night.

Iam getting error in my sequence.Can you please help me with the techniques to handle the sequencer which has aborted at uneven times.

The default size of hash file is 2 Gb. Can we increase the default size. If so can anyone specify the steps the default size.

Hi, My source data has pogtype pogstatus customercode effective date Another table has columns pogtype customer code. I need to compare the pogstatus.if the pogstatus is the same, I neednot do anything, only if the pogstatus is different I need to update the effectivedate and insert. cheers; Vijay

In the incremental loading, we consider loading records b/w the last successful load and current record.

Actually i have never done incremental loading.How do we know the last successful load.

I think the latest version of datastage is 7.5.1, one of my friend is saying that there is also version called 7.5.2 , is there any difference between the two. What is the latest version now.
