We have IIS 8.7 installed, all works fine but the new Operations console.
When log into Ops Console web page, after a while, it pops up error message, couldn't connect to service tier....
But all others like Web admin works, so service tier can be connected
Does anyone have an idea ?

Only using existing Websphere and xmeta
We plan to keep the possibility to reboot only IA engine other than Datastage engine, since we expect IA crashes more often.
Install IA engine on a separated server, but using the same Websphere and Xmeta Database .
Has anyone done so, any particular points to be aware of ?

I use Information Analyzer http api command line to export FD result.
However the csv file I get is like as following.
The value for percent is all empty..
Does anyone know why ? is it a bug ?
value,frequency,percent

Remove tables from Project Property
I am working on an IA project, which was set up by others. There are 20 tables in the project data sources, however, I am only interested in 10 of them, therefore I want to delete 10 of them from Project Property-> data sources interface. I can remove these 10 tables, save all. However some of these...

How oracle enterprise stage upsert works ?
I have a job using oracle enterprise stage upsert to write back to Oracle table. Update first then insert. Just wondering how upsert works, my understanding, Oracle will run a generated update statement for all incoming rows, then insert those which not found match in update. If so, does it mean if ...

Oracle Enterprise vs Oracle Connector
What are these fundamental difference between them. I had issues by swapping them. Oracle Enterprise stage, I had a select 1 as col1 from dual statement, and set col1 as integer 10 Not null, datastage throwing warnings say implicit convert decimal(38,10) to int, null to not null, etc. Change to orac...

As noted, the PX product ships with the MKS Toolkit which allows emulation of UNIX under Windows. MKS is not shipped with DS Server version. Am I right. The problem I am having now is setup framework, I need to decide which script I should use. KSH is ideal if it is supported, if not, I have to use...

Does Datastage installation bring a shell environment
I suddenly realized I can run KSH on my WinXp after I installed DS8.5 client.
Does anyone know why it is that ? does DS client contain a shell environment support ? Is it the same across different version ? I mean from Server 7.5 to Enterprise 8.5 .
