In the spirit of things (and the effort expended here), could you elaborate on how this was resolved in the end please? Mark the topic as resolved too please, as it will guide others to this resolvable issue in future.

Is there a method of proving said config file still (as in v7.x) through Manager or it's new equivalent? (Though for the record it looks fine and I think Craig's hit the nail on the head).

the setting up of user in the web console is being done by a user not having admin rights
Even without the experience of undergoing an 8.0.1 install, that just sounds plain odd to me. Can a user who doesn't have admin rights add another user?! :?

Have you checked any stage variables in the transformer stage too, as well as output link derivations?

In the file Ray pointed you to, what is contained at line 109 through line 112?

If you used auto partitioning over 2 nodes, you would get the same effect as you did with 2 nodes and hash partitioning, so no, this won't solve your 'problem'. This said, having now realised we are talking about a job that doesn't process a high volume, I'm not sure where the need to tune this proc...

Brad,

Just one more thing... (as Columbo said to the prime suspect) could you post up your PMR ID please? It would be nice in submitting my own (which I'm collating now) to cross-reference your existing one.

Thanks in advance :)
