Hi Gurus, We are migrating from the 8.7 version to the 11.5. Every night I export the project via a script using dscmdexport.exe in both versions. I'm very surprised by the size of the 11.5 dsx vs the 8.7 dsx. For the same project the 8.7 dsx is 180 MB and the size of the 11.5 dsx is 3 GB. Regards,

Hi Gurus!

Some of our Job controllers don't start. The last line in the log is Environment variable settings. It hangs at that point and I have to kill them.

Is your svcol22 stage variable self-referencing? --> yes !!!

With your test you show that the problem is not the null but the reuse of the variable ? I'm correct ?

Everyhing looks correct.
To test i did
if @INROWNUM=1 then setnull() else svcol22 where svcol22 is a stage variable.

APT_TRANSFORM_COMPILE_OLD_NULL_HANDLING is set to False.

From my point the view the probleme isn't the evaluation of the null but the lost of it when using a stage variable.

First of all i have to add that in our schema file we have column before and after my example.
Can you clarify the format tab thing ? Is it the one in the ouput tab Inside the column import stage ?

Since a few days we have randomly the following error
failed to open file in datastage status=13
It's happen inside the jobs who wrote and read a file.
The write is ok the read failed.
After the abort we can relaunch the job and it works.
Can you help me ?
