stage variable behavior
Hello guys, In one of our jobs , I have different output for the same column. I am using a transformer stage for other reasons. If I propagate the column directly to the output I get the right result. But If I propagate the input to a stage variable (witout any operation) and then pass the stage var...

nullable issue because empty table
Hello Folks,
Wondering why I get error message when oracle table is empty :
Converting a nullable source to a non-nullable result
When table is filled we don't have these error message.
Any hint on this behaviour ?

Using Grid
Hello Folks,
I was wondering why in some projects I see more grid parameters than others projects. Like APT_GRID_HOME.
I'm trying to use the grid dynamicaly but when I check the dsparam It looks that I'm missing some parameters.
Any clue will be kind.
Cheers !

How to get rid of phantom process
Hello Folks,
I need some tips on how to remove datastage phantom process from the unix box.
Cause when I use ps -ef I can see many phantom process from last week .
Moreover if you know how to stop a job using something than the director it would be helpful.
Thanks !

Code: Select all
then in one sense you'll never upgrade...
I'm going to read the readme of 8.1 if it's possible to get it from IBM.
