The installation on windows looks easy but I was wondering if anyone can provide a kind of checklist configuration. Things that are not mandatory but still useful to do after an instalation of datastage 8 on windows. Cheers !

Hello, I have some jobs that were scheduled everyday and so running everyday. I did some little change in the job and compiled it. I didn't reschedule the job cause it was still schedule in the director. So I would know if there is an other way to check if the job is really scheduled and why it didn...

The message I get is something like this:
pointer hashdir set in VOC file

No warning message before or after.

how could I list all the pointers in VOC file ?

Hello , I've created a job that run everyday smoothly, then I was doing some test on it. So I run it and stop it (using the stop button in director). But since I did it then the job is still filling the log. like this : Agg....Run stopped after 83838 rows Agg...Run stopped after 83839 rows ...and so...

FIrst time I 've tried with directory where the hashed file is located and second time full path whith the hashed file but in both case view data doesn't work.

In the administrator , using the command SETFILE like this :
SETFILE c:\folder\txt HASH_DIR

Then in account name : HASH_DIR

Seems that the only way is to do a reinstall

I did create a voc entry in administrator , the voc entry name is HASH_DIR but when I put it as account name in hashed file then the view data doesn't work.

Is there any syntaxe rule for account name ?

Ok thanks , because I 've already installed a patch and I'm afraid to downgrade because of reinstalling the NLS, any clue about the installed patch ?
