The stage this is happening is Data Rules.

Data Rules does not have a way to change the the character set. I will try to change at the job lebel and see...

Got it resolved.

You have to pick at least one rule definition and bind the varialble.

Once this is done than the output page gets populated. :o

Ray,
The Data Rules is to use within a DataStage job to validate the input data.


The rules are working in IA.

I have not applied any rules yet however, first all the columns need to show up in the Data Rules Editor and that is my issue...

I appreciate any advice. :)

Thanks ArndW and Ray :D CCYCONV run after compiling and cataloguing, however is now saying: Output from command ====> OPEN FAILURE ON CCY_CNVRT_RATE FILE. Is not able to write to the hash file which is in the H:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSEngine\ folder. Do the hashfile need to be now in the BP ...

CCYCONV is an in-house program created long ago, much before I started working here. It is a universe program that does some calculations with rates and writes it into a hashfile.

Does it need to be compiled?
Can it be compiled?

When I run these commands I am getting these errors:

command: BASIC BP CCYCONV
Unable to open "BP" file.
command: CATALOG BP CCYCONV LOCAL FORCE
No record found in the VOC file for "BP".

I was able to run the program from the command prompt like this:
