Hi Vindy,
In your EPM 8.9 project, are you implimenting any other warehouses other than CRM Warehouse? If so, are you having all the dsx files in one project or do you have multiple projects, one for each module like one DataStage project for CRM, one for HR and one for Common dsx jobs??
Thanks,

8.9 ?
That patch should fix this issue. Did you have single project or multiple DataStage projects for your EPM 8.9?

Native for Oracle 10g
Actually, you configure the dsenv file for the Oracle client information needed to use the native interface - the OCI stage. For ODBC, the other two files you mentioned are the ones that need to be edited. For ODBC, just copy what you find in the existing files for Oracle (assuming you'll want to u...

Setting up multiple projects vs single project in DataStage
We are implimenting PeopleSoft Warehouse including HCM Warehouse, Financials Warehouse and CRM Warehouse. When setting up projects in Ascential DataStage, I am thinking that having separate projects may be a good idea. This will be helpful to administer the jobs and apply bundles/fixes provided by P...

NLS / FTP
The only two options I have are Binary and ASCII for the FTP Stage --> Outputs Page --> Properties Tab --> Data Representation. If I use Binary, it does not work. So I have used ASCII How do i convert from EBCDIC to ASCII in FTP Stage, if possible?? Are you specifying that the FTP should convert fro...

NLS
The source is MainFrame GDG DataSet (FLAT FILE) that is encoded in EBCDIC. FTP Stage is being used to ready the data from the file. I have tried few other NLS map names that were installed on the system. None of these work for special characters. However NLS map:ISO8859-1 works well if I do a Table ...
