Where did you find that support for running server jobs will continue?
I have not been able to find any reference to that.
Does this also include Basic routines and Basic expressions used in job sequences?

Docker installation of DataStage
I am curious to know if there are people who are already using the dockerized installation of DataStage, which is available since fixpack 2, for example on Azure or AWS. I would be interested to hear what are you experiences using the docker installation, and what are the challenges that you faced w...

Generate Multiple Files without outputting key column value
I am creating multiple files through one sequential file stage using the "Generate Multiple Files" option. The filename is based on a root file string plus the value of a key column, so that for each distinct value of the key column a new file is generated containing the key value in the f...

I am currently at a site that has a serious problem: 1. The Development environment installation has been seriously messed up 2. They do not have a recent export of the DataStage jobs from this environment. They could restore the production jobs to a clean installation, but would then loose months o...

How to creating datafile assets for hashed files
What is the correct / best method to create datafile assets for hashed files? I found out here that to create a datafile asset, I have to change the locator for the table definition in datastage and change tabletype to Sequential (I assume that is generic for all datafile assets, and there is not a ...

Link Database table to stage
I am working on the Metadata Workbench Essentials course, and I am trying to figure out how a Database table asset gets linked to a stage. In the course there is one example where this link is not done automatically, and you have to use manual linking. That is of course fine to explain manual linkin...
